Mikey General - Dance Hall Vibes / Margaret 12'' [1986 Digikal Original Pressing]

Monster 12'' featuring two classic Gussie P tracks. Pure 80's Brittish dancehall at it's best. The A Side sounds has a bassline that sounds like Queen's Another One Bites The Dust. Both sides include versions.

Copac - Sound Boy 7'' [198x Mes Jam Original Pressing]

Interesting Canadian DJay tune. Surprisingly enough, Canada was one of the big three destinations (UK and US being the other two) where Jamaicans migrated to starting in the 50's and 60's. Most of the Jamaican population in Canada is centered in Ontario, where several sounds/labels sprung up over the years, like Summer Sound, King Culture, and Mes Jam.

Chuck Turner and Bounty Killer - Settle Down 7'' [1993 Kingston 11 Original Pressing]

Nice bogle remix of Chuck Turner's hit Run Around Girl, on Jammy's Live And Love label in 1987. This is also a King Jammy prodo.

Silver Cat - Van Damme / Alley Cat - Midnight 12'' [1995 Shocking Vibes Original Pressing]

Very nice US printed tune with 2 different Cat's deejaying catchy riddim. Love the Silver Cat tune though... Watch mi kick like Van Damme! The AA side also includes the version with crazy sped up rapping sound effects.

Admiral Tibett - Why Should I 7'' [1989 Jammys Original Pressing]

Tuff Tibett tune with commentary of the violence in Kingston at the time, where residents had to watch out for the police just as much as they did from rude boys and banduloos!

Sugar Minott - Production Plan 7'' [198x Youth Promotion Original Pressing]

Sugar rallying the community to empower itself... fittingly on the YP label.

Junior Reid - Babylon Release The Chain 7'' [1984 ET Original Pressing]

Classic Errol Thompson (ET) prodo with Jr riding a simple and early digi beat. Horns give it a rootsy rub a dub feel though. This copy's not a very good pressing unfortunately, so there's some hissing.
